Pennine View School is a community, co-educational day school for children aged 6-16 years with moderate learning difficulties and associated special educational needs. The school is maintained by Doncaster Local Authority.
We aim to provide a calm, well-ordered environment for pupils and staff so that effective learning can take place. We encourage regular contact between home and school so that parents know what their child is achieving at school and we are kept informed of any important home issues, which may affect their performance at school.
Good behaviour, regular attendance and effort are rewarded by use of a merit system, which forms the basis of our weekly Friday afternoon assembly, where we celebrate our pupils’ achievements.
We hope you will enjoy using our website and that it gives you a good idea of all the good things that happen within our school.
