Ben Sweeney
Ben left our school in 2009 to follow a life skills course at Doncaster College. He is really enjoying this especially the catering sessions.
Whilst Ben was at Pennine View, he took part in many swimming competitions and achieved a high level of success. He still trains three times each week at Edlington Pool.
He has always been a keen swimmer since starting at the age of 5. He now also plays football for the Thorne Tigers Team.
Recently Ben Swam in the World Downs Championship in Taiwan. He was fantastic gaining 2 Gold medals and another 2 Bronze medals.
Soon, Ben will be competing at the World Championships Italy 2012
