Our theme this term is toys, Class 2 went to visit Cusworth hall. We got to play with all the different toys. We learnt about how different they are now from years ago. We all really enjoyed ourselves and would love to visit again.
Class 2 Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Posted on: February 11th, 2013Class 2 went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. There we learnt all about the different animals and their habitats. We also adopted a tiger called Vladamere. We had lots of fun and we hope we can visit Vlad again soon!
Class 2 Build a Bear
Posted on: February 11th, 2013Our theme this term is Toys. (The wonder emporium). Class 2 went to Build-a-bear workshop at Meadowhall and made their own teddy bear. We got to choose our own teddy and outfits we named him Freddy! This was after a story which we have performed in our movement lessons.(Where’s my bear). The children really enjoyed it and were fantastic!
Class 2 Barge Trip
Posted on: November 15th, 2012Class 2 have been looking at pirates we performed a play in movement for some other classes called ‘The Wicked Pirates’.
We went on a barge it was really exciting. We got to see lots of different things in and around the water. We all had a chance of steering the boat!
Class 2 Meet a Creature
Posted on: October 8th, 2012In class 2 our theme this term is PLOP! We are looking at water and the things that live in it. We went to The Deep and learnt lots about underwater creatures. Here are a few pictures of what we saw. Some really unusual looking creatures came to say hello.
‘Meet a Creature’ came to our school. We got to hold lots of different living things. We learnt about their different habitats and all the things they have to do to survive.
